Each Lesson requires approximately 1 hour.

- LESSON 1 - Why share our faith?
- LESSON 2 - Starting Spiritual Conversations
- LESSON 3 - Explain the Gospel using John 3:16
DETERMINE YOUR WORKSHOP SCHEDULE
Each Lesson requires approximately 1 hour.
- Consider doing a 3 hour session
- Or 3 independent 1 hour sessions
ROOM SET UP
- Simple setup where participants can hear you and write notes
SUGGESTIONS FOR LESSON 1
- Use the Leaders Notes to guide the session
- Have participants use their Bibles to look up Scriptures
- Make comments using notes provided and ask questions to illicit discussion
SUGGESTIONS FOR LESSON 2
- Using your Leaders notes to encourage Prayer, Caring, Asking Questions and learning to trust the leading of the Holy Spirit.
- Explain the concept of Faith Stories and how they differ from a "salvation testimony".
- Encourage how to listen closely to other people and recognize issues they are dealing with.
- Discuss the issues listed and how faith in God can make, or has made, a difference.
- Go over the Faith Story Guide.
- Allow participants time to formulate a Faith Story and have them share it with another participant.
- Give an assignment to develop 2-3 more Faith Stories to engrain the concept and make them more sensitive to opportunities to use them.
SUGGESTIONS FOR LESSON 3
[Note: Depending on how interactive your participants are, this lesson may require more time.]
- Using the Leaders Notes, go over the introduction.
- Go over Leading Into Sharing The Gospel
- Asking Permission
- Memorizing the 5 Key Questions that guide you as you explain the Gospel
- Go over each Key Question and use the Coaching Tips to share what to emphasize in answering each question.
- Point out that there isn't a precise way to answer them so they don't have to memorize an answer.
- Have participants jot down significant words in the box for each question on their John 3:16 Worksheet. Words they will use to help remember what they want to talk about to answer the question.
- Once you've finished and participants have filled out their John 3:16 Worksheets, have them use them to practice with another participant.
Find ways for them to use Witnessing Guides or Gospel Booklets to share with non-believers.
High Tech Workshop
- Designed for those who can print Training Handbooks and able to project PowerPoint slides.
- Computer, projector/monitor and Handbooks are what you need.
- All need resources can be downloaded free from the "Teaching Materials" section on this website

- Be sure to study the Leaders Guide in advance and get helpful tips and suggestions for each lesson. Refer to it as necessary during the Workshop.
